Deposit & Cancellation Policy
Please note that we are a non-smoking property.  Smoking is not allowed on the property.

All our published rates are in U.S.$, based on single/double occupancy per casita, per night and do not include tax (9%).  Please note that we do not charge an additional gratuity that many lodging establishments do. There is no minimum night stay required.

We accept, Visa, MC, AmEx & Discover Credit Cards.  All reservations require pre-payment via Credit Card.  Once booked, your rate is guaranteed for the duration of your reservation.  

Please note, if you book online we use SquareUp to process our online Credit Card transactions.  
We will send you an electronic invoice, which you can then pay through a secured credit card processing site.  We will never see or have access to your credit card information!  

To confirm a reservation a 50% deposit is required at time of booking with the remaining 50% balance due 30 days prior to arrival.   The reservation is subject to cancellation if the balance is not paid 30 days prior to arrival and the initial deposit will be subject to our cancellation policy.  When making a reservation 30 days or less prior to arrival date, full payment is required at the time of booking.  All cancellation requests must be received in writing.

Check-in and Check-out times are as flexible as we can be.  Normally, our guests can check-in at 2:00 pm.  Check-out is usually by 10:00 am. 

Cancellation Policy:

If you cancel more than 30 days before arrival, we will issue you a refund - less a $25 U.S administration fee, any bank/credit card processing fees and currency exchange charges (if applicable).

If you cancel less than 30 days before arrival, we will attempt to rent out your room.  If we are successful, you will receive a refund for the nights we are able to re-book, less a 1-night administration charge.  You will not receive a refund for any of the room nights that we were not able to re-book.  If your room remains empty for all of the nights of your original reservation, a refund will not be granted.

Other than stated above, we do not provide refunds or credits for specific reasons/events such as; illness cancellations, weather delays, missed flights, early departures, etc.  For this reason, we highly recommend purchasing travel cancellation insurance provided by most carriers.

Important Disclaimer:

Cristo Rey Village is in the jungle region of Belize. While this provides incredible beauty and natural wonders, it also means that heat, humidity, sudden tropical squalls, and power outages are not uncommon.

We strive for a calm, serene & relaxing environment; and most of the time it is just that.  However, the tropical birds are very active as daylight breaks, and the Howler Monkeys can get loud at night.  We are also in the middle of a small, but active village.  Sometimes the neighboring roosters, dogs, etc. can be heard. For those guests who are extremely noise sensitive please keep these things in mind.

Living in the jungle also means an abundance of Geckos, Iguanas, ants, and ‘bugs’.  None of which are dangerous.  Surprisingly though mosquitoes are usually not an issue.

That said, we do everything we can to ensure your stay is comfortable and pleasant.
